In the spirit of giving during the holidays, we are organizing a used outdoor gear, food and holiday gift drive here at BWK to benefit our neighbors in need. We will be accepting donations in the boxes out front of the school. Beginning Monday, November 27th through Friday, December 8th, please drop off donations at any time during school hours. Volunteers will collect all items and bring them to Emergency Family Assistance Association (EFFA) on Yarmouth Avenue.

EFFA provides vital services to thousands of families here in Boulder County. To learn more about what they do, please visit HERE.

Outdoor Gear Donation Guidelines

Any used outdoor gear is accepted and welcomed!

Food/ Personal Care/ Household Goods Donation Guidelines

EFFA is in need of holiday food items (perishable and non-perishable accepted). You can find shopping lists HERE and HERE, which highlights food staples, personal care and home good items in particular demand. Please feel free to bring in any fresh produce as this is always a welcomed gift to the families that rely on EFFA.

Holiday Gift Donation Guidelines

Each year, EFAA hosts a holiday gift drive to make the season brighter for children and teens in our community. Our holiday gift room is 100% community-supported, meaning that we rely on the generosity of folks like YOU.

EFAA accepts donations of new, unwrapped toys and presents for kids and teens ages 0-18. Our greatest need is items for young teens, such as arts & craft supplies, clothing, hobbies, and self-care. EFAA is unable to accept books for the Gift Room. Click HERE to view the full list and donation instructions.

DEADLINE FOR DONATIONS IS NOON ON FRIDAY, DECEMBER 8, 2023.
