Audrey Nguyen – Violets Class Afternoon Teacher

Audrey is in her first year at Boulder Waldorf Kindergarten as an Afternoon Teacher in the Violets Class. She has worked at various schools with children from ages 3-1/2 to middle-school age as a Teacher’s Assistant and has also babysat / nannied for countless families since she was 14 years old.

Audrey received her BFA in Interior Design with an emphasis in Sustainability from Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design in 2018, but has since found her heart leading her in a different direction and back to her roots in childcare. In her design career, she found that thoughtful design strategies have the power to shape the human experience by allowing end-users a connection to nature and their role in a larger, integrated system. Audrey passionately believes that this holistic frame-of-mind can support her in the classroom and on the playground as well. She is so excited and grateful to plant seeds and watch them grow with the BWK community.

In her free-time, you can find Audrey gardening or watering her houseplants, volunteering on a local farm, cooking up something healthy and delicious, doing yoga, or hiking / camping with her dog Indigo.
