Ayelen Acosta – Dandelions Class Lead Teacher

Ayelen grew up in a small mountain town in Argentina, where she obtained her degree in Early Childhood Education. In 2018, she moved to the United States for a work and travel program.

Passionate about the outdoors and wildlife, Ayelen likes to spend her free time exploring Colorado and other beautiful states and national parks on road trips and camping.

During the pandemic, Ayelen started to paint and draw botanical subjects, bringing her to pursue a certificate in Botanical Art and Illustration at the Denver Botanic Gardens.

When schools reopened, Ayelen embarked upon a new career at a Waldorf school in Wheat Ridge. This new beginning imprinted roots in her career and opened up an exciting path of opportunities. In 2024, Ayelen joined Boulder Waldorf Kindergarten. She completed her Waldorf teacher training at Gradalis in the summer of 2026.

Today, she is excited about all the new beginnings that await her.
