Liz Wilding, Cherry Blossoms Class Lead Teacher

Liz grew up in Colorado, attended Waldorf school through high school, and began teaching in 2009 after graduating from CU Boulder, with a degree in Anthropology. She received her Lifeways training in 2012 and is also a Simplicity Parenting Family Coach. In 2023, she completed an apprenticeship with Tonja Reichley in Community Herbalism. Liz is currently enrolled in the Waldorf Early Childhood Teacher Training program with Gradalis Teacher Education Center in Denver.

Liz brings over a decade of Early Childhood experience. From 2010-2013, she was an Assistant Teacher and Lead Teacher in the Buttercups Class at BWK and the Lead Teacher in the Lavenders Classroom during the 2020/2021 school year. She also has experience as an Assistant Teacher at Boulder Valley Waldorf School. More recently, Liz opened her own Waldorf-inspired preschool in Lafayette – Cottontail Nursery School – with her friend and fellow teacher where she has been for the last several years.

When not in the classroom, Liz enjoys hiking, cooking with her family, reading science fiction and studying herbal medicine. She lives in Broomfield with her husband and two sons.
