Rebecca Arnold – Cherry Blossoms and Lavenders Class Afternoon Rest Program Teacher

Rebecca grew up in Westchester, New York. She received her BA in Literature from UC Santa Cruz, where she found a home among the redwood trees and by the ocean before heading to Colorado to receive her MA in Somatic Psychotherapy from Naropa.  She has her Waldorf Teaching Certificate from Gradalis.

In 2014, she helped pioneer the North Fork School of Integrated Studies in Paonia. It was during that time, as she homeschooled her 1^st Grade Daughter, that she fell in love with the Waldorf methods and curriculum. Following that experience, she assisted in the Kindergarten, 1^st, and 2^nd grade classrooms. During her Gradalis training, she created a Waldorf homeschool program for a class of 2^nd and 3^rd grade students inside a refinished barn. Prior to BWK, Rebecca was a Class Teacher at Boulder Valley Waldorf School for four years.

Rebecca enjoys cooking, hiking and spending time in nature with her family.  She loves singing, storytelling, and doing art with children!
