Rowan Gaddis – Violets Class Assistant Teacher

Rowan graduated from UC Santa Barbara with a BS in Biological Sciences and a Minor in Spanish. While in college, he led backpacking trips for the UCSB Adventure Program, an organization focused on climbing, kayaking, canyoneering, group management, risk management, and outdoor leadership skills.

Rowan moved to Colorado in the summer of 2022 from Ojai, California. In California, he was a surf instructor at Wave Heart Surf Camp and an Environmental Educator at the Catalina Environmental Leadership Program.  In his off time, Rowan likes to clamber up mountains and play the mandolin, guitar, and fiddle.

Rowan is EMT and WFR (Wilderness First Responder) certified.

Rowan attended the Pasadena Waldorf School from PreK through 8^th Grade, where he received an education that inspired boundless curiosity and a lifelong love of learning. He is excited to share this with the BWK community.
