Kimmy Randall – Lavenders Class Assistant Teacher and Buttercups Class Afternoon Rest Program Teacher

Originally from Sheboygan, Wisconsin, Kimmy and her family moved to Colorado’s Front Range when she was four years old. Attending a Waldorf/Montessori/Reggio-inspired home school shaped her profoundly. Her preschool teacher, Ms. Sam, guided and inspired Kimmy and is the reason she become interested in teaching, wanting to give children the same freedom and nurturing. First, as a nanny, and then as an educator, Kimmy has spent most of her career caring for and teaching children.

Kimmy graduated from Naropa University in 2019 with a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (plus a minor in contemplative psychology). She worked as an infant/toddler teacher at Unity Spiritual Center, and then as assistant teacher at Surya Mountain Day School and  Alaya Preschool before joining BWK in June 2023 during summer camp.

She shares her home with Sage, her 14 year old miniature pincher/rat terrier, and loves making art from all types of mediums.
