Toddler Program (Ages 12 – 36 months)
The Lifeways Toddler Program, our Buttercups Classroom, strives to emulate a loving and healthy home life, with a curriculum focusing on the domestic arts such as: food preparation and cleaning, self-care, and care for others through nurturing the animals and garden. Class size is limited to 9 children per day.

Morning Kindergarten & Preschool (Ages 2.5 – 6 years)
Our mixed-age preschool and kindergarten program focuses on the importance of rhythm throughout the day, the week, and the seasons. This rhythm allows for smooth transitions between learning through imitation, playing games for physical development, experiencing nature, and gathering in a circle to hear the teacher tell a fairy tale or folk tale to engage the child’s imagination.

Afternoon Program (Ages 3-6 years)
The Afternoon program is available for Preschool/Kindergarten children as an extension of their morning. The program hours are 12:30 – 4:00pm, offered Monday through Friday.
The After Care program is designed to be a home-like environment for the children as they unwind from their busy morning in Preschool/Kindergarten. The afternoon begins with a lunch which the child has brought from home, followed by a rest and then outdoor play.

Summer Camp (Ages 3 – 6)
The summer camp is filled with the same gentle rhythm found in the school year and in addition, honors the spirit of the season with planting, tasting, and harvesting in the garden, picking flowers, growing bean-pole teepees and sunflower houses, outdoor games and crafts, and lots of water-play.
