Sarah Beasley – Summer Camp Morning Lead Teacher
Sarah pursued visual arts as a sculptor, printmaker, and photographer. She trained as an Art Teacher, and then Waldorf Grades teacher, eventually earning an MA in Educational Leadership from the University of Northern Colorado. Sarah developed and taught World Dance & Fine Art curricula for the Santa Cruz Waldorf Middle School, a comprehensive K-6 Art Curriculum for the Rio Grande School in Santa Fe, NM, and taught grades at the Austin Waldorf School, as well as several Waldorf Summer Camps. She also studied Dance/Movement Therapy at the Center for Movement Education & Research in Sebastopol, CA.
Sarah studied samba and salsa dancing in San Francisco and Rio de Janeiro for many years. Sarah has a lifelong passion for climbing mountains, and has summited Mt. Kenya and Mt. Baker, among others. She publishes articles on meditation, life, and the arts in several journals and authored a book on animal care from a Buddhist perspective. Sarah has lived in Boulder County since 2018.
